Today I managed to place my order for the new updated version of Napoleon Hill’s classic ‘Think And Grow Rich’. This version is being released by Ted Ciuba who has produced a lot of books, dvds and so on on this area of thinking rich. I will keep you updated when I get the copy and let you in on some of the gems I’m sure it will include. The original ‘Think And Grow Rich’ book by Napoleon Hill features many aspects of positive thinking all rolled in to one 6 part formula for financial success so I’m looking forward to getting my new edition.
Incidentally the first part of the formula is regarding knowing exactly what it is you want to achieve. Yeah goal setting…ok then yawn, this one always sounds a bit boring but really do you have an exact goal, could you tell me exactly what it is you are working towards in life? or are you drifting? It’s a slippery slope. Remember six months will come around soon enough anyway so it’s just as easy to set a goal and work towards it as not to. Get busy living or get busy dieing. Well errr I’m not sure it’s quite that clear cut but it certainly helps to know where you are going!
Or has anyone out there ever achieved anything significant by accident? If so let beyond positive thinking blog readers know…

Ok then, first blog post. Better make it profound what with this being a positive thinking blog and all!
I thought I’d start with one of my favourite quotes:
‘You can do anything you think you can. This knowledge is literally the gift of the gods, for through it you can solve every human problem. It should make of you an incurable optimist. It is the open door’ – Robert Collier I interpret the quote mentioned above as follows: If you have unshakable belief that you can do something, you will never give up on that thing you desire, therefore you will inevitably succeed – regardless of what problems arise. The outcome is simply predetermined by your attitude. Pretty much meaning that nothing is impossible.
The knowledge that this amount of faith can enable you to do/have anything is then very much like an open door – simply know this fact and walk through the door of belief, pick up what you want and enjoy it. The Bible I believe says something about… knock and the door will open – this could be translated to: Have faith you can do something and you then can!Anyway thats my thoughts on the matter. I don’t pretend to know everything about this, that is why I started this blog so I can express my opinions and learn from the experiences and thoughts of others. Other people will undoubtebly have different views…so let me know what you think regarding any of the posts on this site!PS, Quote from a former student of mine I used to teach English to in Tokyo:‘Impossible is nothing’
So he got the philosophy if not the language just yet!
